One nurse knits Christmas sweaters for the newborns in her unit.

Caitlin Pechin, a nurse in a Pennsylvania hospital, is making Christmas extra-sweet for new parents. Pechin, who works at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Magee-Women's Hospital, knits Christmas sweaters for the newborns in her unit.

Pechin began knitting and crocheting nine years ago, but her first newborns' sweaters were the first sweaters she had made, according to a Facebook post by the Women's Hospital. In an interview with Good Morning America, she explained that making the sweaters is very rewarding.

The parents also enjoyed seeing their newborns in these well-crafted Christmas sweaters. "It was a little itchy maybe, but he did great!" said one dad about his newborn son's sweater (Parents). Click here for more adorable sweater pictures.
