Baby Girl Dies in Hot Car After Grandmother Left Her All Day

This caregiver thought she dropped the baby off at daycare, but never did.

I don't know if my heart can take hearing about another baby dying in a hot car, and yet that's exactly what's happened again.

According to CNN.com, A 4-month-old girl was found dead in Oklahoma after she was left inside an SUV for most of the day, the Oklahoma County sheriff's office said. The child's grandmother thought she had dropped off the girl at a day care in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area Friday morning on her way to work.

When the child was reported missing from day care that day, authorities were notified and upon searching the back of the car, she was found dead.

Even with all the warnings, babies are being forgotten in the backseats of hot cars daily, including 2 other infant hot car deaths occurring in Arizona last week.
