NICU Nurse Now Works With Former Patient

Vilma Wong is proof that NICU nurses never forget their patients.

A chance encounter has reunited a NICU nurse to a former patient of hers twenty-eight years ago. 

Anyone who has had a baby in the NICU knows how intense the experience is, none more than the nurses who take care of those babies every day. 

Vilma Wong, a nurse who has worked at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford for the past thirty-two years, is proof that NICU nurses remember their patients forever. 

Recently, Dr. Wong was reunited with a former NICU patient, Brandon Seminatore, now a second-year pediatric resident completing a Child Neurology Residency at Stanford University.
