Did you know the iconic Gerber baby was actually modeled after an actual baby?
Not only is it true, but to this day the company continues to pick new Gerber babies.
In fact, this year was a first: the newest Gerber baby has down syndrome. While 2-year-old Lucas Warren may not look like all the babies that preceded him, his smile and joy are undeniable.
Never was that more evident when the original Gerber baby, 91-year-old Ann Turner Cook, met Lucas for the first time recently:

Cook's grandson captured the meeting and it appears the two formed a bond almost instantly.
Times may change, but that famous Gerber baby smile remains the same!
