Winter Olympic Parents' Reactions Caught on Film

Perhaps just as inspiring as the Olympic athletes' performances this year are the reactions caught on film of their parents during the Winter Olympics.
Who can forget the animated reactions of Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman's parents while watching her compete during the summer games? All of us squirmed, wiggled, turned and eventually cried with them as they watched their daughter go for gold.
So it made us wonder if any of the Winter Olympic parents have shown the same emotion as Aly's...and the answer is a resounding YES!
Surely by now you've heard the story of Chloe Kim's dad who gave up his job to support her during training full-time. She was slated to win gold in snowboarding and she did not disappoint. The question is, did her dad bring that sign with him all the way to PyeonChang?

Just as there is the thrill of victory, we know the Winter Olympics also brings with it the agony of defeat. While athletes may be used to falls and crashes, we're not sure parents ever get used to seeing their children get hurt, as is evidenced by Emily Sweeney's mom after her crash during the Luge final:

We have a feeling no matter how she places in these Olympics, she'll be smiling!

While everyone hopes they will go home with a gold medal after competing in the Olympics, if you're a parent, you already know you would be proud of your child just for making it among the elite athletes of the world.
